Youth Entrepreneurship Fair Will Help Young People Identify Business and Financial Goals – Oct. 19 at “Pip” Moyer
ANNAPOLIS, MD (October 3, 2019) The S.W.A.G. (Students With Abundant Goals) Youth Entrepreneurship Fair will be held at the Pip Moyer Recreation Center on October 19, 2019 at 4:30pm.
This event will give business owners between the ages of 5 and 18 an opportunity to work with each other to showcase their businesses. During the event, children will get to network, sell their products, and hear from speakers about understanding finances and entrepreneurship.
The ultimate goal of the event is to encourage children to follow their dreams and to inform them that hard work and good financial decision-making can help them to become successful entrepreneurs and businessmen and women.
Speakers at the event will include Mayor Gavin Buckley, Alderman DaJuan Gay, and financial wellness expert James Henson.
The event is free and open to the public. The Roger “Pip” Moyer Recreation Center is located at 273 Hilltop Lane, Annapolis, MD.
